In music, colossale is used to indicate a sense of immensity. And we can all agree, the big bang, however it happened, did indeed create a universe of immense proportions which is taking many many millenia to settle down or literally "chill".
So too with our Valangaverse--it was created in a colossal KABOOM which blasted matter to the farthest corners of creation.
The challenge is to bring it all to the fulness of life.
The best way to understand what the big bang may have sounded like is to peruse some of the compositions of the famed "venetian school" likely inspired by the sound of the wind and sea which were in the ears and spirits of Venetians, and played in the spacious concert halls of st marks
